Detroit Training Center
Detroit Training Center (DTC) specializes in workforce development and construction--including blight removal, commercial driver's license, heavy equipment, and skilled construction programs offering job placement assistance. We also offer home improvement workshops, welding classes, green infrastructure training, and tiny house construction programs.

Sachse Construction Academy Detroit
Sachse Construction is deeply committed to helping close the skilled trades labor gap by producing an annual Skilled Trades Academy that provides a platform for metro Detroit high-school students to learn about post-secondary skilled trade job opportunities. Since 2016 over 2,500 Detroit high school students have attended!
In previous years, students participated in hands-on training and demonstrations with more than 400 subcontractors and skilled tradespeople from across the state of Michigan and had the opportunity to meet with unions and vocational schools to explore construction trades as a rewarding career path.

Dymond Designs Beauty School is a cosmetology training school located in Downtown Detroit that supplies excellent education in the fields of cosmetology, manicuring, esthetics, instructors’ courses, refreshers courses, and natural hair cultivation. We supply the highest level of education, with staff members that have been experienced in the fields of education, finance, and cosmetology for over 25 years. Marlene Brooks founder of Dymond Designs Beauty School (2017), Dymond Designs Beauty Studio (2008), Dymond Designs Extensions (2015) and Dymond Designs Beauty Institute (2010). Ms. Brooks started an apprenticeship program in 2013 helping young women obtain their cosmetology license. Further, she saw that this was helping individuals who were interested in the Beauty Industry, so she decided to open a Beauty School with the capability of training many more students. We partnered with many organizations such as The Mayors Sector Partnership Program, MI works, Path Program (Department of Human Services), Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Goodwill Life Launch Program and more organizations that will provide State Grants for participants to be trained.

At Paul Mitchell The School Farmington Hills, we prepare our students (or as we call them, Future Professionals) for careers in the beauty industry as licensed cosmetologists.
